We all know people who aren’t so positive; when you are around them you tend to feel deflated, and you go away afterwards feeling a little bit down.
Then there are the naturally positive people. You know the person, they always seem to light up a room, their energy is boundless, you are interested in what they have to say and you just like being with them. These people live life to the full (not full of drama) and seem to wake up in the morning thinking ‘I love my life’.
The key to positivity is understanding that, whether you see positivity as an energy, a state of mind or an attitude, as social creatures we tend to reflect other people’s. Therefore, it is important to understand how you can generate positivity yourself.
As you get older, you don’t necessarily jump out of bed with that same ‘I love my life’ energy, and life may not be giving you a feeling of YES! It therefore becomes necessary to attune yourself to each day; asking yourself what sort of day are you going to have and in doing so, setting yourself up for success.
Our state of mind is a powerful tool, and starting the day in a positive way is a big step on the road to success.
