Y is for Yin AND Yang!
Yin and Yang is the representation of duality forming a whole. This can be explained in so many ways, so let’s just understand for wellbeing that it demonstrates how two different energies, thoughts, actions can be in a symbiotic balance with each other to create one.
Yin can be considered feminine and yang, masculine. Each of us has the ability to access both of those energies, or perspectives should we choose. Wellbeing is about finding the balance, the harmony that works for you.
When you look at the symbol most often used to represent Yin & Yang, you can see the stark contrast between the black and the white; how the shapes are completely separate and yet fit together perfectly; how the dot of each colour sits immaculately.
1) Where do you feel split in two in your life?
2) Why do you feel like this?
3) What could you do to change this?
4) How many different ways could you do that?
5) What if you were to take one of those ways and make that change now?
